The Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010 (MA000100) sets minimum pay rates, conditions, and entitlements for workers in the disability, home care, and community services sectors. It covers most NDIS support workers, coordinators, and administrative staff.
Saturday work attracts 150% of the base rate, Sunday 200%, and public holidays 250%. Overtime is 150% for the first two hours and 200% thereafter. Afternoon shift loading is 12.5% and night shift loading is 15%.
A broken shift is worked in two or more periods with unpaid breaks. Standard broken shifts have a maximum of two periods. By agreement, three periods are allowed. The maximum span is 12 hours and a broken shift allowance must be paid.
