Zero Tolerance refers to the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission’s approach to eliminating the use of restrictive practices wherever possible. The goal is to reduce and eventually eliminate practices such as seclusion, physical restraint, mechanical restraint, chemical restraint, and environmental restraint. Providers must demonstrate they are working toward reducing restrictive practices in their services.
