Scope
This policy applies to users of Inficurex’s services anywhere in the world, including users of Inficurex’s apps, websites, features, or other services.
This policy specifically applies to:
- Care recipients: users who request or receive care and support services and products.
- Care communities: users who are invited into a care recipient’s care community.
- Care providers: users who provide care and support services and products.
This policy also applies to those who provide information to Inficurex in connection with an application to use our services, or whose information Inficurex otherwise receives in connection with its services (such as the contact information of individuals associated with care provider partners).
All those subject to this policy are referred to as “users” for purposes of this policy. “We”, “our” and “us” refers to Inficurex.
The practices described in this policy are subject to applicable laws in the places in which we operate. Please contact us if you have questions on our practices in your country or region.
Data Controller
Inficurex is the data controller for your information. We process personal information inside and outside of Australia.
The data controller for the information you provide or that is collected by Inficurex or its affiliates is:
Inficurex , Questions, comments and complaints about Inficurex’s data practices can be submitted to Inficurex’s data protection office.
We process personal information inside and outside of Australia. Inficurex transfers information of users outside Australia on the basis of mechanisms approved under applicable laws.
Information We Collect
Inficurex collects:
- Information you provide to Inficurex, such as when you create your Inficurex account.
- Information created when you use our services, such as location, usage, and device information.
- Information from other sources, such as Inficurex partners and third parties that use Inficurex APIs.

- User profile: name, email, phone number, login credentials, address, payment or banking information, government identification numbers, date of birth, photo, and signature.
- Background check information: (for care provider partners) such as criminal record, where permitted by law.
- Demographic data: including through user surveys or from third parties.
- User content: information submitted when contacting customer support, providing ratings, or otherwise contacting Inficurex.
- Address book or calendar: if permitted, we may collect names and contact information from your address book and calendar events for service facilitation.
2. Information Created When You Use Our Services
This may include:
- Location information: precise or approximate location via GPS, IP address, or WiFi.
- Transaction information: details related to your use of our services, including service type, order details, delivery information, payment method, etc.
- Usage information: how you interact with our services, including access times, features used, app crashes, and system activity.
- Device information: hardware models, device IP address, operating systems, software versions, unique device identifiers, etc.
- Communications data: information about communications made through Inficurex apps and services, including call/text data and content.

- User feedback, such as ratings or compliments.
- Information provided in connection with referral programs or claims/disputes.
- Information from Inficurex business partners, insurance providers, financial services providers, publicly available sources, and marketing service providers.
- Inficurex may combine information from these sources with other information in its possession1.
How We Use Your Information
Inficurex collects and uses information to enable reliable and convenient care services. We also use the information we collect:
- To enhance the safety and security of our users and services.
- For customer support.
- For research and development.
- To enable communications to or between users.
- To provide promotions or contests.
- In connection with legal proceedings.
Inficurex does not sell or share your personal information to third parties for third-party direct marketing purposes.
Specific Uses
- Providing services and features: creating/updating your account, verifying identity, enabling care services, processing payments, tracking service progress, enabling sharing features, and performing internal operations.
- Safety and security: screening providers, preventing fraud or unsafe activities, using ratings to encourage improvement, and deactivating users as required.
- Customer support: assisting with inquiries, investigating concerns, and improving support responses.
- Research and development: improving services, developing new features, and enhancing safety/security.
- Communications among users: enabling care providers and recipients to communicate.
- Communications from Inficurex: informing you about products, services, promotions, and updates.
- Legal proceedings and requirements: investigating or addressing claims or disputes, or as otherwise allowed by law.
Cookies and Third-Party Technologies
Inficurex and its partners use cookies and other identification technologies on our apps, websites, emails, and online ads for purposes such as:
- Authenticating users
- Remembering preferences and settings
- Determining content popularity
- Delivering and measuring advertising campaigns
- Analysing site traffic and trends
We may also allow others to provide analytics and advertising services for us.
Information Sharing and Disclosure
Some Inficurex products, services, and features require that we share information with other users or at your request. We may also share your information with our affiliates, subsidiaries, and business partners, for legal reasons or in connection with claims or disputes.

- With other users: e.g., sharing your name and address with service providers you engage.
- At your request: e.g., sharing your care schedule with friends or family.
- With the general public: when you submit content to public forums.
- With Inficurex service providers and business partners: e.g., payment processors, background check providers, cloud storage providers, marketing partners, data analytics providers, research partners, consultants, and professional service providers.
- For legal reasons or in the event of a dispute: e.g., with law enforcement or in connection with a merger or acquisition.
- With your consent: for purposes not described in this policy, if you are notified and consent to the sharing.
Information Retention and Deletion
- Inficurex retains user profile and other information for as long as you maintain your Inficurex account.
- Transaction, location, usage, and other information is retained for 7 years for regulatory, tax, insurance, or other requirements. Thereafter, such information is deleted or anonymised in accordance with applicable laws.
- Users may request deletion of their accounts at any time. Upon request, Inficurex deletes information not required to be retained and restricts access to required information.
- Inficurex may retain information if necessary for legitimate business interests, such as fraud prevention or safety/security enhancement.
Choice and Transparency
Inficurex provides means for you to see and control the information that we collect, including through:
- In-app privacy settings
- Device permissions
- In-app ratings pages
- Marketing opt-outs
You may also request explanation, copies, or correction of your data.
Privacy Settings
- Set or update location and contact sharing preferences, and notification preferences.
- Disable location or contact syncing as desired, with impact on related features.
Device Permissions
- Mobile platforms (iOS, Android, etc.) require your consent for certain data access. Your use of the app constitutes your consent.
Explanations, Copies, and Correction
- You may request explanations, copies, or corrections of your data by contacting Inficurex.
Marketing Opt-Outs
- Opt out of promotional emails or messages by contacting Inficurex or following instructions in those messages. Non-promotional communications may still be sent as required.
Updates to This Policy
We may occasionally update this policy. If you use our services after an update, you consent to the updated policy.
If we make significant changes, we will notify you through the Inficurex app or other means. By using our services after such notice, you consent to our updates to this policy. Please review this policy periodically for the latest information.
