The Australian Government organisation administering the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). The NDIA is responsible for:

  • Processing access requests and determining eligibility
  • Working with participants to develop their NDIS plans
  • Managing NDIS funding and making payments to providers
  • Engaging partners like Local Area Coordinators and Early Childhood Partners to deliver services
  • Monitoring the quality and outcomes of the scheme

The NDIA works with participants, their families, carers, providers, and the community to deliver the NDIS across Australia.
